Experienced Creative Designer

Rosie Burges is a enthusiastic versatile designer with over 15 years industry experience and a passion for imaginative engaging design work. She enjoys diving into the story behind a brand or product, drawing in the user by telling its story and creating eye catching and memorable designs. Recognised for her problem-solving acumen and keen attention to detail, Rosie is a thoughtful and dedicated professional.

Rosie graduated in Animation at the University for the Creative Arts, specialising in 3D computer animation. She decided to pursue her love of digital graphics and design, studying courses in Web Design and Flash Website Creation at Central Saint Martins, London whilst volunteering her skills for Suffolk’s Scouts and Guides and joining Ipswich’s group for young creatives, IP1 magazine.

This experience led her join national magazine publishers Aceville Publications. Here she worked her way up from Junior Web Designer to Web Design and Video Producer in a successful and expanding team. She gained responsibility of the magazines’ online videos, in particular sound production, editing and post production by expressing her interest in online media.

Alongside full time employment, Rosie worked with lager brewery Calvors to develop their brand and marketing materials, increasing public awareness in East Anglia and London. During this time she also was involved in the launch and branding of Calvors’ first pub, The Rampant Horse in Needham Market, Suffolk.

Wanting to expand her design skills for more clients, Rosie joined Essex design consultants Phelan Barker, bringing digital skills to the team. Her influence as the main digital correspondence, helped to strengthen and grow Phelan Barker’s client base and increase the work for the company.

In 2015 Rosie joined Playtech, the world’s leading online gaming and sports betting providers. Starting as an Interactive Designer she progress to Senior Designer and in a short time was recognised in the company and promoted to be Lead of the Design Team. Here Rosie enjoys working in the expressive games industry, combining her passion for UX, UI, graphics design and animation, as a key member of the Virtual Sports team.
