Christmas card and mailer graphics

Task

Christmas card design and graphics for a series of mailers to show off a London printer’s incredible printing techniques and bring in extra business to the company.

One main design was a devil’s coat of arms for Halloween. Research was undertaken to understand the rules to create such an emblem and then symbolic haunting graphics were create and arrange to create a powerful and elegant design.

The Christmas cards were to be based on simple geometric elements such as stars and snowflakes and then elevated by their design and die-cutting processes into a stand out piece of printed art.

Result

The Christmas cards received high praise for their intricate die-cutting techniques and lavish designs. Each became an item the recipients wouldn’t want to throw away.

The devil’s coat of arms was a dark subject, but the company director loved the detail and in depth knowledge behind the design. It became one of their favourite pieces to date.
